Guy passed away suddenly at home Friday, November 10, 2023 at the age of 66 years. Beloved husband of the late Diane Lalonde. Dear Father of Patrick Lalonde (Amanda), Mélanie Lalonde (Shawn Rowe), and Julie-Anne Lalonde (Sebastien Kirouac). Adored Grand Papa of Maxime and Alexa Lalonde, Isabelle and Gabriel Rowe, and Samuel and Théo Kirouac. Loved brother of Monique Ladouceur (Rene), and Normand Lalonde (Randall Hughes). He will be deeply missed by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, Maurice and Madeleine Lalonde.
A great advocate of Franco-Ontarian culture, Guy was known for his love of a good conversation and great music, but his first and remaining love was for his family.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street, Cornwall, Ontario, across from City Hall (613) 938-1039. There shall be visiting at the Funeral Home on Friday, November 24, 2023 from 1 pm to 3 pm, with a Funeral Service in the Chapel of the Funeral Home at 3 pm. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers would be appreciated by the family, directed to Le Centre Charles-Emile-Claude in Guy’s name.
