It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Georgette (née Babineau) Cameron at the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus with her family by her side on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the age of 75 years. Beloved wife of Martin Dockery and by a former marriage to Harold Cameron. Loving mother of Bill and Ed Cameron, Kathy Soucie (Peter), Mary-Claude Bernard (David) and the late Christine Cameron. Dear sister of Claire Bedard (Guy), Cecile Soucie (late Reg) and Lorraine Martin (Tony). Predeceased by her parents Camille and Rehenri (née Derouchier) Babineau and 6 siblings Morris, Isadore, Roger, Ray Babineau, Joe Akeherst and Jean McKlean. In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Helen’s life will be celebrated at a later date. If so desired, Memorial Donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
