Helen Patricia Hart

Loving wife of Harold Hart peacefully passed away at home with her devoted husband of 33 years by her side. Cherished and beloved mother and Gramma of Bruce Lindsay (Michelle), Daniel, Ryan and Jordan; Stefanie Lindsay (Andrew), Taylor; Jennifer Lindsay, Kale and Jayden. Caring step-mom and Gramma to Tom Hart, Christopher and Catherine; Christine Johansen, Kyle; and Heather DesOrmeaux (Denis), Lisa, Emily and Karlie. Helen will be greatly missed by her loving sister Margaret Harwood (predeceased by Victor) and fondly remembered by two great step-grandchildren and all of her nieces and nephews from near and far.
Helen was born in Cornwall, Ontario, and is predeceased by her parents, John and Martha (Norwood) Taylor. Helen’s travels took her around the world where her kind and gentle strength will be remembered by her family and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 9, 2022 from 6pm-8pm at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from City Hall) Cornwall. Attendance will be controlled and those attending are required to wear a mask and maintain social distance. Family and friends are requested to assemble at Knox St. Paul’s United Church, 800 Twelfth Street East, Cornwall on Tuesday March 15, 2022 at 11am for a Memorial Service.
