SZANCZUK, Helena – Passed away peacefully at home on December 19th at the age of 64 after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer. She was a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin, sister, and friend. She will be remembered for her love of rose adorned teacups, her delicious food, her beautiful flowers, her unwavering faith in God, but most of all her ability to light up a room with her glowing spirit. She was a special woman who was beloved by many. She loved to help and she loved to give all that she could to everyone around her. Her spirit of giving and selflessness will live on in the people that loved her most and were lucky enough to have known her. She is survived by her husband Krzysztof; her eight children: Magdalena, Bartek, Luke, Jakub, Luiza, Weronika, Anna, and Szymon; twenty-four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, where visitation will be held on Sunday December 22, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9PM. The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 321 Tollgate Road East, Cornwall, on Monday December 23, 2019 at 11:00AM.
