It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Hilda Brunet (née Gallant) of Alexandria on Saturday March 8th 2025 at The Palace Long Term Care; age 92 years. She leaves to mourn her loving husband Claude of Alexandria and her children Maurice (Janiver) of Cornwall and Diane (André) of Cornwall. Hilda also leaves behind two grandchildren Shawn (Miriam), Todd (Leah) as well as two cherished great-grandchildren; Ainsley and Chance. She also leaves behind her siblings; Alphonse (Jeanne), Albertine (Gordon), Alphonsine (Eric), Zoel (Claire), Geneva, Gérard (Linda) and Donald (Donna). Hilda was predeceased by her parents Freddy and Eva (née Maranda) Gallant and her siblings; Regina, Albert, Alfred and Ernestine. A mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday March 22, 2025 at 1:00pm at Église Sacré Coeur, 225 Main St. S, Alexandria, ON. The family will receive visitors at the Munro and Morris Funeral Home, 114 Main St. S, Alexandria, ON, (613)525-2772 on Saturday March 22, 2025 from 11:00am to 12:30pm. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
