It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hilda at home, with her family by her side on Tuesday September 12, 2023, at the age of 72 after a brief battle with cancer. Beloved wife of the late Jean-Paul Henri (2016). Dear mother of Henry Jr. Lapensée (Christine) and Lynn Leroux (James). Cherished grandmother of 7 and great-grandmother of 7. Loving sister of Rheal Michaud (Carol), Claude Michaud, Amy Tessier (Roger), Dora McElhone (Ron) and Theresa Demotigny (late Steven). Predeceased by her parents John Michaud and Pearl Michaud (nee Gaines), son Marc Lapensée and siblings Raymond Michaud, Maurice Michaud, Irene Montroy (late Harry), Simone Lalonde (Tess), Lucille Hance (late Daniel) and Yvonne Vivarais (Fern).
