LEVAC, Imelda – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our precious Mom. Surrounded by the love of her family, Mrs. Imelda Levac (nee Lavictoire) slipped peacefully away at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre on January 10th 2020 at the age of 107 years and 9 months. Born on April 9, 1912, in Marionville, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Isidore Lavictoire and Célima Belisle. She was predeceased by her husband, Eucher Levac, son Conrad (Margo) and daughter Sylvia Dubé. She is survived by her children Sr. Fernande Levac, ssmn, Gatineau QC, Albert (Denise), Phillippe (Lisette), Normand (Jeannine) and Cécile Délorme (Don) all of Cornwall, and Jean-Claude (Gea) of Wheatley ON. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 2 step-granddaughters, 24 great-grandchildren and 7 step-great-grandchildren and one sister-in-law Rhea Ravary. She was predeceased by her brothers Marcel, Léo, Léri, Henri, Dominique and sisters, Délida Levac, Rita Beaudin, Cécile Charlebois. The family wishes to thank the staff of SJCCC for the loving care received. Family will be in attendance at Lahaie and Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch, 614 First St. E., (613-933-2841) on Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral. Funeral will be held at St-Félix-de-Valois Church at 11:30 a.m. Cremation has taken place.
