It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Irene Leroux (née Goulet) on Friday, April 12, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre at the age of 94 years.
Beloved wife of the late Armand Leroux. Loving mother of Gerard (Red) Leroux (Elaine).
She will be sadly missed by her two grandson Eric Leroux (Anik) and Marc Leroux (Sonia) and by her great-grandchildren Alyssa, Adalind, Aidan, Jacob and Léa.
She is predeceased by her parents Alfred and Roseanna Goulet (née Thauvette), her brothers Real, Donat and Maurice and by her sisters Cecile, Laurette and Rita.
Visitation will take place on Friday, April 19th, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888). Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Columban Church on Friday, April 19th, 2024 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in the spring in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Lancaster, ON. Our family would like to thank the staff at Chartwell Cornwall and St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre for the compassion and care provided for our mother.
As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre would be appreciated by the family.
