Jacques Brunet
Thursday, December 3rd, 1953 – Saturday, July 3rd, 2021.
Mr. Jacques Brunet, peacefully at his home on July 3, 2021. Loving brother of Robert (late Ginette Lalonde), loving companion of Ginette Leroux, Roger (Kathy), sister, Denyse Lalande (Martin), Louis (Roxanne), Marc (Helene). Predeceased by his parents; Albert Brunet and Francoise Brunet (Latulippe) and by his brother André. Much loved uncle of Julie, Marie-Josée, Joshua, André Jr., Christopher, Marie-Michelle, Patrick, Philippe, Mandi, Mélanie, Michele, and Chloé. Also sadly missed by nieces, Abrielle, Adelina, and nephew Caleb. Also many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Special thanks to all the support workers from Bayshore who took care of Jacques daily, for over 3 years, and the LHIN Organization for having monitored Jacques from the beginning, the nurses, PSWs, and Dr.s at the Cornwall Community Hospital. A special thanks to Raymond St. Jean, who spent numerous hours getting groceries, cleaning the house, and spending time with Jacques, along with long-time friends, Denis Seguin, who took care of Jacques’ property, and Ronald Patenaude, who did lots of mechanical work over the years for Jacques, and Slavko Nakic, who kept an eye on Jacques as a taxi driver. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Nativity Co-Cathedral on Saturday July 24, 2021 at 11:00AM. Cremation has already been completed. The family will be in attendance at church from 10:00AM. Masks will be mandatory while inside of the church with a maximum of 50 people allowed. Interment to follow in St. Williams Cemetery in Martintown. In lieu of flowers, donation to Hospice Cornwall would be greatly appreciated by the family.
