James Arthur Fiddler
December 16, 1937 – June 12, 2025
Surrounded by the love of his family, James Arthur Fiddler passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025, at Woodland Villa in his 88th year.
Beloved husband of the late Janet Estelle (née Fischer) Fiddler. Cherished father of Randy (Carole) Fiddler, Michelle (André) Gravelle, and Jeff (Sylvia) Fiddler. Proud grandfather of Trevor (Roxanne), Shelby (Scott), Arielle, Aaron, Avery, Ashton (Camrin), Addison, Alec, Keenan, Taran, and Caden. Loving great-grandfather to Charlotte, Everly, Jade, Jurnee, and Jovie.
James was predeceased by his parents, Carl and Stella (née Borutski) Fiddler, his step-father, Hans Hageman, and his half-sister Doreen MacGregor.
James will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He will live on through the many lives he touched.
As per his wishes, James was cremated, and a visitation will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, June 20th, 2025, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m., with a service following at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, 1509 Second Street West, Cornwall. An inurnment will follow at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery.
The family would greatly appreciate memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society as expressions of sympathy.
