James Bennett
BENNETT, James Robert, passed away peacefully on March 4th, 2019. He was in the company of his family, close friends and medical professionals. As a father he was always there to support his sons Jim Jr. and Michael. He was an awesome grandfather to Jamie (Jenn) and Chris (Kaila) Bennett. He loved to golf with them and cherished these times. He did not get as much time with his other grandchildren Westin and Mikaela as they lived far away but when they did he inspired them with his zest for life and incredible humour. As a great grandfather to Jamie’s children Carter, Avery and Jaxson he got so energized being with them and loved them dearly. Jim shared an incredible life with his wife of 57 years, Jacqueline Bennett who predeceased him in November 2014. He loved her dearly and together they shared a wonderful life. They were very different, but this difference made them whole. Dad was adamant that there would not be a funeral or celebration of life. So please in memory of my dad, raise a glass of your favourite beverage and toast this great man. You know he is toasting you back.
