James Daniel Kiernan “Jim”
July 17th 1935 – April 1st 2024 (88 years)
It is with great sadness we announce that on Monday, April 1st, “Jim” Kiernan passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends. Jim leaves behind his wife Michelle Kiernan (Hauser), daughter Shannon Kiernan, sons Sean and Michael, grandchildren Journey, Lyla, Seneca, Malaya and Paige, sister Diane, brother Douglas, many nieces, nephews and friends. Jim’s presence was magnetic, his sense of humor contagious and his thoughtfulness and generosity appreciated. He enjoyed golf, hang-gliding, ice sailing, flying planes, coaching hockey, training and racing sulky race horses, traveling and most of all being with family and friends. Thank you from so many of us for spreading so much laughter, happiness and love. We miss you Jim. Thank you to the staff at the Cornwall Community Hospital for their kind efforts. They are angels. A celebration of life will be held in July and will be announced.
