James “Jim” A. Wibberley, 92, died in hospital on February 24, 2025 at 4:30 a.m. after a long illness. Predeceased by his beloved wife Joan in 2022. Also predeceased by his 2 brothers and sister. Missed by his 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
A retired Captain of the Canadian Air Force who loved camping in nature’s beauty, cross-country skiing and golf; he lived a full busy life all across Canada. Known for his hugs and smile, a killer game of euchre, darts or cribbage, he was a gentle presence always willing to lend a hand.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Home, 20 Seventh Street West, (613-932-8482).
