KYER, James – At Hospice Cornwall, on Friday October 18, 2019. He was 83. He leaves his loving wife of 43 years, Elaine (Owen) Kyer. Loving father of Cindy Kyer (Tom), Marc Thauvette (Vanda), and Daniel Owen (Peggy). Sadly missed by his grandchildren and great-grandchild. Survived by one sister, Kathleen Campbell (Bill) and one brother, Richard Kyer. Predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Eva (Lafave) Kyer and 2 sisters, Helen Mayer (late Maurice), and Charlene Spence (late Mansel). Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Family and friends are requested to assemble at Blessed Sacrament Church at 11am for Funeral Mass on Monday. Committal to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Hospice Cornwall or Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
