At Glen Stor Dun Lodge, on Friday, February 4, 2022. He was 95. Loving husband of the late Evelyn (Groves) King. Cherished father of Diane Breed (Bernie), Jim King (Georgina), Susanne King, Richard King (Faye), Jack King (Barbara), Lisa King and late Nancy King. Sadly missed by 6 grandchildren, Arnold, Troy, Chelsea, Jeremy, Tera, Russell and 5 great-grandchildren, Ryan, Kyle, Cameron, Ethan and Miles. James is also survived by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, William and Jennie May (Thauvette) King and his brothers John and Ernest. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. An attendance controlled visitation will be held on Tuesday February 15, 2022 from 10a.m.-11a.m. Proof of vaccination along with government issued ID are required for the visitation. Guests are required to reserve a time to attend the visitation by calling the Funeral Home at 613-938-1039. Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday February 15, 2022 at Blessed Sacrament Church at 11:30 a.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be livestreamed or on replay at https://funeraweb.tv/diffusions/47098. Mask and physical distancing are required at all gatherings. Cremation to follow.
