McDonald, James – Mr. James Daniel McDonald at Woodland Villa, Long Sault, on Friday March 6, 2020 at the age of 78 years. Loving father of Jamie McDonald. Dear brother of Grace MacDonald, Gladys Mesich (John), and Archie (Kate), companion and best friend Eileen Walker. Beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings Alex, Roderick, and Mary Belle, and his parents Archibald and Janet (née McPhail) McDonald. Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, where visitation will be held on Monday March 9, 2020 from 2-4PM & 7-9PM. The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated on Tuesday March 10, 2020 at 11:00AM at St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church. Cremation to follow. Interment at a later date in St. Andrew’s Parish Cemetery. If so desired, contributions in his memory to Woodland Villa would be appreciated by the family.
