MacDONALD, Janet (née Marvell) – Mrs. Janet MacDonald at the Cornwall Community Hospital – McConnell Site on Monday October 21, 2019 at the age of 81 years. Beloved wife of the late Malcolm MacDonald. Loving mother of Alan (Leigh) and Russell (Debbie); and predeceased by one son Thomas. Cherished grandmother to Cole MacDonald (Alyscia) and Douglas MacDonald. Loved daughter of the late Jack and Marguerite (née Dicknoether) Marvell. Dear sister of Ken Marvell (Christine); and predeceased by her siblings Gordon Marvell, Mary Lavergne, Margaret Corcoran, and Marjorie Sturgeon. The family wishes to acknowledge with sincere gratitude the personal and professional care provided by the medical staff at the Cornwall Community Hospital. Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and Friday from 9-10:45 AM. The Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated in the chapel of the Wilson Funeral Home on Friday October 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Rite of Committal at a later date in Notre Dame Cemetery, Cornwall.
