It is with profound sadness the family announces her peaceful passing, surrounded by family, at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Friday, September 1, 2023 at the age of 71 years. Loving and devoted wife of Bernard “Bernie” of over 34 years. Treasured mother of Jeff (Michelle) McQuillan and beloved Nana of Emma and Colin. Janet will be greatly missed by her brothers Glen (Mary) Shoniker and Paul Shoniker, along with her loving in-laws. Janet is predeceased by her parents George John Thomas and Marion Elizabeth “Beth” (née Reynolds) Shoniker; her brothers Jim Shoniker (late Wendy) and George Shoniker (Jeanique).
