DUPELLE, Jean – Surrounded by her world (family), passed away at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Friday September 20th, 2019 at the age of 82. Loving wife of the late Paul Emile Dupelle (2003). Cherished mother of Maurice (Karen), Dan (Priscilla), Pauline Brown (Shawn), Sandra Boucher (Thomas), and Sheila Longtin (Marcel). Loving grandmother of Christina Primeau (Brian), Stephanie, Jesse, Tara, Noah, Paige and Hannah. Adored great grandmother of Dylan, Bianca and Logan. Predeceased by her parents Alexander and Christina Ann (McNaughton) MacDonald and by her great granddaughter Samika. Jean will be fondly remembered by many. Her door was always open for anyone in need and was affectionately known to many as “Ma”. Jean was a tireless volunteer with Community Living, Cornwall Community Hospital and the founder of Friends Helping Friends. Resting at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOME, WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh Street West, (613-932-8482) from 2:00 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday September 24, and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 25th, 2019 at St. Peter’s Parish at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Raphael Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Community Living Glengarry or to the Agape Centre Cornwall would be greatly appreciated by the family.
