It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Jean-Guy ‘John’ Charron on Wednesday May 21, 2025, at the Cornwall Community Hospital, at the age of 88 years.
Beloved husband of the late Fleurette ‘Flo’ (Dube) Charron.
Loving father of Colette Charron (Paul) and Jean ‘John Jr.’ Charron (Sylvie). Cherished grandfather to Eric Polino (Holly), Renee Maloney (Mark), Joel Charron and Justin Charron (Elizabeth); great grandfather of Hannah and Isaiah Polino, Maya and Olivia Maloney.
Dear brother of Robert Charron (Darlene), George Charron (Doris) all of Cornwall, Rosaire Charron (Darquise) of Gatineau, QC, Rita Charron-Vezina (Louis) of Massena, NY, Solange Charron-Filion (Marcel) of Aylmer, QC, Diane Charron-Sauriol (Louis) and Helene Charron-Fuga (Lino) both of Montreal, QC.
Predeceased by his parents, Louis and Yvonne (nee Charette) Charron and by his siblings Lucien, Jacques, Henri Charron (Rita), Claude Charron (Bernise) and Madeleine (Noel) Lafleche.
The family would like to thank Sandfield Place for their extra care and support.
In keeping with Jean-Guy’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
The family will be in attendance at M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (613-938-1039), on Wednesday June 11th from 9 a.m. until the time of Funeral. A Chapel Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Followed by interment at Notre-Dame Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
