At the Hospice Cornwall surrounded by his family on Thursday, August 12, 2021. Jean Leger of Alexandria; age 59 years. Beloved husband of Nicole Renaud-Leger (nee Major). Loving father of Eric, Simon (Heather), Jean-Robert (Lauren), Annie (Daryl), and Gabriel. Cherished grandfather of Érick, Meagan, Kasianna, Zoë, Gavin, and Jonathan. Survived by 10 brothers and sisters. Predeceased by 2 brothers, and by his parents Emile and Cecile Leger (nee Miron). Relatives and friends may attend a visitation at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 9:30 am – 11 am. Masks and physical distancing are required. A private Funeral Service will take place in the Chapel of the Funeral Home at a later time. Jean’s family asks that if you wish to write Jean a letter, they will have a special box on hand for the letters to be deposited. The letters will then be buried with Jean. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations to the Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Jean, a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows – memories live.
