It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jean-Louis Brunet on Saturday, February 8th, 2025 at Heartwood Long-Term Care at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of Monique Brunet (née Seguin).
Loving father of Suzanne Brousseau (Roland) and Serge Brunet. Cherished grandfather of 6 grandchildren and great-grandfather of 10.
Dear brother of Jacqueline Kenny (late Jean-Paul), Jeannette Bonneville (late Wilfred), Lucille Morin (late Marcel) and Francoise Bray (Marcel). He will be sadly missed by dear friend Jeannette Lafrance.
He is predeceased by his parents Emery and Josephine Brunet (nee Leroux) and by his siblings Gerard Brunet (late Helene), Emilien Brunet, Rene Brunet (late Shirley), Roger Brunet (late Bernadette), Fernand Brunet (Collette), Raymond Brunet (Susan), Laurette Whitford (late John), Pauline Levac (late Bruno), Delores Lalonde (late Wilbert) and Therese Robidoux (late Jean-Guy).
Mr. Brunet’s family warmly invites all family and friends to gather for a time of visitation at Boulerice Funeral Home, 218 Montreal Road (613-938-3888) on Friday February 14th from 7 -9 p.m. and on Saturday February 15th from 9 – 11 a.m. followed by a service in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in the spring at Notre Dame Cemetery.
For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
