At the Janet MacDonnell Pavilion, Cornwall on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at the age of 99 years, 10 months and 18 days. Beloved husband of the late Monique (née Boucher). Loving father of Denise Latulippe (Louis) of St. Isidore, Paul (Lise Samson) of Cornwall and the late Michel “Mike” (Irma Killoran) of Cornwall, ON. Cherished grandfather of Lise Latulippe – Ouro – Sama (Fousseni) of Orleans, Luc Latulippe (Doug Leavers) of Vancouver, Guy Latulippe of Hamilton, Pascale Latulippe of Ottawa, Laurent Latulippe of Etobicoke, Eric Hébert (Pamela Burke) of Ottawa and Joëlle McDonald (Cylie) of Cornwall. Predeceased by his parents Lodias and Maria (née Riel) Hébert, by his brothers Léo and Roméo (Thérèse) and by his sisters Cécile Legault (the late Lucien), Jacqueline Danis (the late Ovide) and Rita Hébert.

Family will be in attendance at St. Peter’s Church, 2900 Second St East, Cornwall, on Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 9 am. Mass of Christian Funeral will be Celebrated in St. Peter’s Parish on Saturday at 10 am.

Memorial Donations to a charity of choice appreciated.

Mr. Hébert was a decorated WWII Veteran ~ Sailed the Great Lakes with Beaconsfield Steamship (MV Belvoir) as well as a retired Canadian Coast Guard, Chief Engineer of the Cutter Spume.A heartfelt thank you to Heritage Heights Retirement Residence, JP’s second family for five years, to ER Acute and Sub-Acute staff of Cornwall Community Hospital and the staff of Janet MacDonnell Pavilion for all their kind and compassionate care.
