Jennifer Reida Armstrong

19 March, 1971 – 26 March, 2021

Jennifer Reida Armstrong March 19, 1971 It is with profound sorrow that Terry Armstrong and Richard Armstrong (Mary Lynn) announce the death of their youngest daughter Jennifer. Jennifer passed away in hospital, surrounded by her heartbroken family, in Windsor, Ontario, on March 26, 2021, at the age of 50. She leaves to mourn her cherished husband Paul, her precious children Christopher (Carly) and Meagan (Tom), and her loved stepchildren Jason, Stephen, and Kevin. She will be forever missed by her sisters, Carolyn (Jeff) and Beth (Ashley), her brother Richard (Rebecca) and her special nephew and niece Benjamin and Sarah. Jennifer has a large group of grieving family, friends, aunts, uncles, cousins and her 100-year-old grandmother Betty Stringer whose love for Jennifer was unconditional and endless. Anyone who knew Jennifer would say that she spent her life devoted to her children and family. She was known for her infectious personality, radiant smile, beautiful blue eyes, and sense of humour. As a caregiver, her warmhearted nature, caring character and selfless temperament will never be forgotten. Our family has been overwhelmed by the kindness and caring support that everyone has so generously given to us. The Masses offered for Jennifer all over Ontario are greatly appreciated. Special thanks to the nurses at the Windsor hospital, especially in ICU, Chaplain Pat, who helped to ease Jennifer’s death and assisted with our grieving. With our sincere gratitude, we thank you all. Jennifer has been cremated, and a Mass of Christian Burial will take place when the Covid restrictions lessen. Jennifer’s remains will be interned in both Cornwall, where she was born and grew up and in Timmins, where she lived most of her adult life. If so desired, donations can be made to “Carefor Hospice” in Cornwall, Ontario or “Our Living Space,” a shelter for the homeless in Timmins, Ontario.
