Joan Levy Earle
May 1, 1944 – November 28, 2020
Peacefully on November 28, 2020 at the Ottawa Hospital – Civic Campus. Joan was 76 years young.
Predeceased by her parents Edgar and Trudy Levy, her brother Edward Levy, her husband Jack Earle, her second husband Jack Mann and her son John Earle.
To her daughter Lisa Earle Perron (Alain), to her grandchildren Arianna Earle and John Ryland Earle, and to her sisters Diana Charlebois Twiner (David) and Carol Kyte Gaynor (Paul), she leaves her love, forever more. She remains so appreciated by her nieces and nephews and their families. She will also be missed by members of the Mann family especially Darcy Mann, John and Colleen Mann, and Cindy Pelletier.
Joan was an artist, an author, an entrepreneur and a proud supporter of Cornwall and especially Cornwall small businesses. For 25 years her special messages called “Hopelines” appeared weekly in the Standard Freeholder. She loved her life and all of the people and experiences that made it so full and rewarding.
Joan’s strong faith in God and the living presence of Christ enabled her spirit to be joyful and optimistic. She deeply valued the friendship and love of her widespread Church Community.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street, Cornwall. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, all services are private and by invitation only. The family hopes to have a Celebration of Life in the spring when we once again are able to gather together.
