ROY, Joanne (née Myre) at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at the age of 66. She leaves her most loving husband of 45 years, Maurice Roy. Dear mother of Jenny-Lee, Daniel (Lisa Frampton), Dominic (Marie-Claude Bourgeois-Daigneault) and Marc-André. Cherished grandmother of Emmett Roy. Predeceased by her father Claude Myre, survived by her mother Fernande Myre (Sicard) and 7 siblings, Diane Montpetit (Patrick), Claudette Matte (Roger Bourget), Guy Myre, Francine Filion, Sylvie Hickman (Dale), Céline Verville (Luc) and Chantal Herrington (Gerry), brothers-in-law Charlie Roy (Gabrielle), Richard Roy (Pouchie), late Kenneth Roy (Connie) and sister-in-law Debbie Bourdeau (Roger), as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at the M. JOHN SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Friday, January 17, 2020 from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm and Saturday January 18, from 9 – 10:45 followed by Funeral Liturgy at 11:00am in the chapel of the funeral home.
