LAFAVE, John Alfred – Suddenly at his residence on Wednesday September 29th, 2021. John Alfred Lafave of Cornwall; age 63. Beloved husband of the late Mary Lou Vankoughnett. Loving father of Shaun Lafave, Jeffrey “Jeff the Bean” Lafave (Alisha), and Justin Woods. Cherished grandfather of Nerissa, Kaylee, Laytee, Laycy, Maddison and Grayson. Great grandfather to Titan and Ava. Will be sadly missed by his brothers George “Jordy”, Garry “Fatty”, and Kenneth “Kenny”. Predeceased by his parents Andrew and Kathleen (née Flaro) Lafave, sisters Darlene, Diane and Mary, and his brother William “Billy”. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482). A graveside service will be held in Notre Dame Cemetery on Friday October 22nd at 11am. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the CANDLELIGHTERS Childhood Cancer Support Program would be appreciated by the family.
