It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of John Allan Rupert on Friday, May 3rd, 2024 at the age of 89 years.
Beloved husband of Geraldine Rupert (née Parkman). Loving father of Jacqueline Rivière (Dave), Theresa Rupert, Phyllis Rupert (Kent), Joanne Ballantyne (Dave), Diana Rupert, Allan Rupert (Tracie).
Proud grandfather to Jessica (Ian), Trevor, Jacqui Rose (Isaac) , Carson (Sarah), Nathan, Drew, Cole, Garrett, and great-grandfather to Maya-Rosa, Eva, Conor and Carli.
Predeceased by his parents George & Eva Rupert (née MacMillan) and his only brother Donald Rupert.
In respect of John’s wishes cremation has taken place. A graveside Service will be held at Finch Community Cemetery on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at Noon celebrated by Rev. Lois Gaudet. A Reception will be held after the service at the Royal Canadian Legion, 415 Second Street West, Cornwall, ON. from 2 pm to 4 pm.
Donation can be made in John’s memory to the Shriners Hospital for Children, and will be appreciated by the family.
