At the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Thursday, December 19, 2019. Surrounded by his loving family, John Allen “Jack” Atchison of Lunenburg; age 80 years. Beloved husband of Valoree Atchison (nee Thompson). Loving father of Wendy (Geoff) and Tyson (Marie-Elaine). Cherished grandfather of Rebecca (Yoni) and Hannah (Chris). Dear brother of Robert (Wendy), Garry (Penny), Kevin (Susan), Donny (Donna) and Peggy (Brian). Predeceased by his parents Hugh Atchison and Florence Kennedy also sister Sharon (late Tim) and infant daughter Carol. He will be greatly missed by all including his best 4 legged coffee and donut friend, Alex. Special “thank-you” to all his friends and family who called, visited or said a prayer in his name. The Doctors and Nurses in the Civic Campus ICU for their compassion and kindness they showed Jack and family, you are greatly appreciated.
