Suddenly at home on Saturday, May 29, 2021, John Herfkens of Crysler, age 92. Loving husband of Mien Herfkens (nee Peters). Loving father of Theo (Carolyn) of Crysler, Johnny (Monika) of Crysler, Trudy Johnson (Melvin) of Kanata, Albert (Jeanne) of Crysler, Henry (Debbie) of Berwick and Michael (April) of Crysler. Dear brother of Geer Herfkens and Marie Van Zuylen, both of the Netherlands. Grandpa will be fondly remembered by grandchildren Tara, Jodi (Rodney), Kaitlin (Tony), Jessica (Evan), Mikayla (Zac), Amber (Brandon), Jade (Mark), Adam, Zachary (Shelby), Paulina, John, Logan, Kyle and great-grandchildren Madison, Jacob, Owen, Brianna, Hailey, Mitchell, Maximus, Lauren, Olivia, Sadie, Lucy, Lewis, Ainslie and Duncan. He was predeceased by his parents Theodorus and Elisabeth Herfkens (nee Verploegen), his sister Dore Bruisten and his brother Theo Herfkens. He is also survived by nieces and nephews in The Netherlands.
