John “Jack” William Pain
It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of John William Pain (affectionately known as Jack or Jake) on February 17, 2025, at the age of 79.
He was the beloved son of the late Ernest Pain and the late Helen Pain (née Easson). Jack was the loving common-law husband of Toni Lavery and the devoted life partner of the late Jeannine Lamesse, whom he cared for throughout her courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
He is also survived by his dear friend and former wife, Dawn Mannard. Jack was a proud father to Bryan Pain (Amanda Smith and formerly Keri Lorencz) and Jennifer Pain. He cherished his role as a grandfather to Rianna Pain-Andrejin, Roman Pain-Andrejin, Kingston Pain, and Kolten Pain.
