It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of John at home, with his family by his side on Thursday December 21, 2023, at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Lisette. Dear father of Tanya Jesmer-Fornelli (Chad) and Lisa Marion (Marc) and cherished grandfather of Claudia Fornelli, Merick Marion and Lucas Marion. Brother of David Jesmer (Susan). He was predeceased by his first wife Monique Jesmer (Longtin) and his parents Claude and Albina (Fortier) Jesmer. John taught for almost 30 years. He enjoyed travelling and playing golf. Cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888).
