WHEATON, John Peter- Suddenly at home, on Sunday April 11, 2021 at the age of 84. He leaves his loving wife Marion (Allison) Wheaton. Loving father of Anthony (Tony), Maria Preston and Colleen Winters (Brent). Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Andrew Preston (Tiffany), Katie (Matt Offenbacher) Matthew Preston, Austin, Alex and Lindsay Winters and his great grandchildren Leah and Mallory Preston. Predeceased by his parents, William and Bridget (Coen) Wheaton. Respecting the current COVID-19 restrictions there will be a private Mass of Christian Burial at St-Frances de Sales Church. Cremation services entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or St-Frances de Sales Parish would be appreciated by the family.
