Josie Lalonde (Phillips)
Peacefully, at the Cornwall Community Hospital McConnell Site on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at 93 years of age from Covid-19. Beloved wife of the late Percy (Sam) Lalonde. Survived by her loving daughter Gail (Phil) Adams. Cherished sister of Virginia (late Roger) Plante and Clover (late Sonny) Dishaw. Predeceased by her parents David and Katharine (Jocko) Phillips, by her brothers Peter, Adrian (late Irene) and John, by her sisters Mary (late Jerry) Viau, Leona Cook, Theresa (late Johnny) Pacicca and Elaine Blount. Josie will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Mom, your strength, wisdom and love will be with me always. In her words … “I had a great life, don’t be sad.”
Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of LAHAIE & SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOME, WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh Street West, (613-932-8482). A Private Service has been held. Burial has taken place at Notre Dame Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the OSPCA – SDG Branch or to a Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
