Karen was the wife and intellectual/travel soulmate to Don Wood for 60 years, dear sister to Ian (Doreen), badass feminist mother to Heather (Kurt) and Natalie (David) and generous grandmother to Emma (Ben) and Elliot, true and dear friend to many, and a teacher and mentor to countless others.
