Kathryn Hummel (née Lalonde)
1939-2024
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kathryn Hummel (née Lalonde) on Sunday, May 5, 2024 in Cobden, ON at the age of 85 years. Beloved wife of James Hummel for 50 years. Loving mother of Timothy Hummel (Kathy). Cherished grandmother of Jorja and Jesse. Dear sister of Jack Lalonde, Elaine Robertson, Betty MacDonald and Carolyn Lauzon. She is predeceased by her parents Norman and Anna Lalonde (née Deruchie) and by her siblings Patricia Fraser and Gary Lalonde. Sadly, missed by many nieces and nephews.
As per Kathryn’s wishes cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 1st, 2024 at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery, Ingleside at 10 a.m. A celebration of life will be held following the ceremony at the Morrisburg Legion.
As an expression of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
