It is with profound sadness that the family of Lambertha “Betty” de Haan announces her passing on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at the age of 86 years. Betty was born in Ermelo, Netherlands to parents Berend Steenbergen and Cornelia Strankinga. She is predeceased by her parents, and her sibling Jan. Our Mom and Oma will be lovingly remembered by her children Charles (Betty), Linda Mol (Hank), Debbie Lloyd and Wanda Grant (Murray) as well as 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Betty will also be forever remembered by her sisters Geertje Baelde, Heintje Handy, numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date and her final resting place will be Woodlawn Cemetery, Cornwall, Ontario.
