LACOMBE SAUVÉ, Laurette  – Peacefully at the Courtyards on Eagleson in Kanata on Monday, October 7th, 2019, Laurette Lacombe Sauvé, born in Vankleek Hill and formerly of Cornwall, passed away at the age of 88. Beloved wife of 60 years of the late Roméo Sauvé. Predeceased by her parents Joseph Lacombe and Laura Cadieux of Vankleek Hill. Much loved mother of Jean Marc Sauvé (Maria Natziuk) of Ottawa, Lucie Sauvé (Kevin Stiles) of Renfrew, Alain Sauvé (Carol Bisson) of Kanata and Christine Sauvé (Jocelyn Guindon) of Casselman. Dearly loved grandmother of Natasha, Véronique, Zachary, Aima Rose, Christophe, including Francis, Nikolas and Cassandra.

Dear sister of Gérald Lacombe (Marie-Paule Rivard) of Orléans, Yvonne Lacombe (the late Bernard Séguin) of Vankleek Hill, Marguerite-Rose Lacombe (Louis Couvillon) of Ottawa. Predeceased by Simone Lacombe (the late Gérard Langevin), Lucille Lacombe (the late Raymond Conway), Eugène Lacombe (Rita Ranger) and Louis Lacombe.

Dear sister-in-law of Dora Sauvé (the late Rolland Martin) of Vankleek Hill. Predeceased by her father-in-law Joseph Emery Sauvé and mother-in-law Électa Hubert of Vankleek Hill, and by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Marie Sauvé (the late Bruno Larocque), Peter Sauvé (the late Catherine Ladouceur), Thérèse Sauvé (the late Laurent Lacarte), Emma Sauvé (the late Adrien Durocher), Winnifred Sauvé, William Henri Sauvé (the late Dolorès Myre), Stella Sauvé (the late Léo Séguin), Roger Sauvé (Jeannine Sauvé), Jane Sauvé (the late Pierre Perrault), Arthur Sauvé (the late Shirley Laviolette), Charles Sauvé (Gertrude Levac), Georges Sauvé (Claudette Levac), Edmond Sauvé and Juliette Sauvé.

Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, parishioners, clergymen and friends.

The Funeral Mass will be held at Saint-Rémi Catholic Church, 2821 Dumaurier Avenue, Ottawa, Saturday, October 19th, 2019 at 11 am. Visitation for family and friends will be at the church commencing at 10 am. A reception will be held at the parish hall immediately following the Mass. Autumn interment will be at Saint-Grégoire-de-Nazianze parish cemetery in Vankleek Hill, where Laurette and Roméo’s parents, including many other family members rest in peace.

As an expression of sympathy, donations for the upkeep of Saint-Grégoire’s Parish Cemetery would be appreciated.
