Gauthier, Laurette (née Meilleur) – on Thursday November 5, 2020. She was 91. Beloved wife of the late Patrick Gauthier. Loving mother of Maurice (Caroline), Raymond (Brenda), Theresa Watson (Donald) and Roland (Cara). Sadly missed by her grandchildren; Paul, Marc, Jean, Danielle, Joanne, Jessica, Jeffrey, Shawn, Shannon, Mathew, Shawn, Chris, and Kevin, her 21 great grandchildren and her 9 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Irene Samson (Rhéal), Jeanne Ledoux (late Tony), Léo Meilleur (late Claudette) and many nephews and nieces. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Josephine (Lapalme) Meilleur and her siblings Rose Dupuis (late Lionel), Stella Degan (late Frank), Sister Della Meilleur, Cécile Grant (late Donald), Joe Meilleur (late Blanche), Leona Champagne (late Gerry). Funeral arrangements entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. Due to Covid – 19 all services will be held privately. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the CNIB would be appreciated by the family.
