Suddenly at the Chateau Glengarry on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, Laurier “Larry” MacDonald; at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband for 63 years to Margaret MacDonald (nee King). Loving father of Larry, Lee (Charlene), Joann Andre (Pierre) and Denis (Jennifer). Dear brother of Shirley Chabot (Bernie) (late Lucien), Elaine Cardinal (Bob), Sandra Dubeau (George), late Malcolm ‘Tootsie’ (Judy), Norman (Colette) and Judy Poulin (Alan). Predeceased by his parents Malcolm & Juliette MacDonald (nee Sauvé). Proud grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). Due to the COVID restrictions a private Chapel Service will be held. Followed by inurnment in St. Finnan’s Parish Columbarium. Masks and physical distancing are required at all gatherings. In memory of Larry, donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. As a Memorial to Larry, a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows-memories live.
