Passed away at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Friday, September 11, 2020. Laurier Adrien Poirier of Paragon Rd; age 82 years. Beloved husband of Vivian Poirier. Loving father of Patsy Poirier (Claude) of South Glengarry, Ricky Poirier of Alberta, and the late Judy Seguin (Leo of Green Valley). Papère of Valerie-Léger (Al) and Mikey Fontaine (Josée) both of Glen Walter, Allison Seguin of Iqaluit, Nunavut, Patrick Seguin of Ottawa, Andrew Seguin of Cold Lake, Alberta, and Lee Seguin of Ottawa. Great-papère of Mia and Hugo Leger, and Cedric and Loé Fontaine. Dear brother of Artel Poirier (Joyce) of Williamstown, late Walter Poirier (Joanne of Simcoe), Ursula of Cornwall, Late Raymond Poirier (Marge of Long Sault), late Yvonne Lapierre (Gerard of Summerstown), Bernadette Stang (Maurice), late Elizabeth “Betty” Stang (late Kelvin), and Wayne Poirier all of Cornwall. Dear son of the late Armand and Victoria Poirier (nee Major). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A private graveside committal service will be held at the Ste. Marie de l’Assomption Catholic Church Cemetery, Green Valley. A public celebration of life will be held at a later date. Date and time to be announced.
