Lenore Ann MacMillan (Spooner)
Lenore MacMillan passed away peacefully with her family by her side at St. Joseph’s Villa, Cornwall on Monday, January 6, 2025. Born in Alexandria, she is predeceased by her parents Leonard and Florence Spooner (nee McMillan) and brother, the late Alexander “Alex” Spooner. Dear sister-in-law of Rae Spooner. Lenore is preceded in death by her life partner Leslie Samson (d. 2018) and her former spouse Brian MacMillan (d. 2009). Much loved mother of Wayne (Charlene), Jo Ann (Dan), Bruce, Connie (Dave) and Kelly. Loving grandmother of Karen, David (Chelsea), Trista, Dylan (Taya) and Ryan (Maia) and great grandmother of Brandon, Jordan, Grace, Taylor, Kingsley and Tyson. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the St. Joseph’s Care Foundation will be greatly appreciated by the family. The family would like to especially thank the staff at St. Joseph’s for the wonderful care that Lenore received while she resided there. In keeping with Lenore’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a service is not planned.
