SPENCE, Leo James – Peacefully at the Shawville Hospital on Friday, February 28th, 2020 in his 95th year. Leo Spence of Allumette Island, beloved husband for 70 years of the late Mary Spence (nee Hynes). Loving father of Shirley Gareau (Andre), Danny Spence (Colette), the late Brenda Spence, Donna Spence and the late Patrick (Debbie) Spence. Sadly missed by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Predeceased by parents James and Christina Spence (nee Bonnah) and by siblings Rita, Christina, Olive, Doris, Joe, Zeph and Gerald. Respecting Leo’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, St. Joseph on Tuesday, March 10th, 2020 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Parish Cemetery, St. Joseph.
