Lester Alexander Van Putten

At the Cornwall Community Hospital McConnell Site on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at the age of 76 years. Beloved husband of the late Marlene (née Lalonde). Loving companion of Charlene Wardle. Cherished father of Kevin Paul and Andre Paul. Proud grandfather of Heaven, Lexie, Kylie, Cameron and Andy Jr. Loving brother of Arie (late Joan) of Newington, Bernadine Hebert (Late Jean Guy) of Dorval, Veronica Stewart (Late Alfred) of Cornwall, Hendrina Lacroix (Edward) of Apple Hill, Ella Vaillancourt (Bruno) of Cornwall, and Wilhelmina “Mink” Fusee (Late Duane) of Moose Creek. Predeceased by his parents Adrianus Van Putten and Ellen (née Campeau); by his son Steven Paul and his daughter Christina Lecompte, and by five brothers, Grant (Gisele), Adrian, Angus (Lucy), Winston (Late Claire), and Aloysius and two sisters Mary Ester and Aleida Trudelle (Late Leonard). Lester is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Attendance Controlled Visitation will be held at LAHAIE & SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West, (613-932-8482) on Sunday, January 30, from 2 to 6 pm and Monday, January 31 from 9 am. Mass of Christian Funeral will be held in St. Frances de Sales Church on Monday at 11 am.
Followed by cremation.
