LAPERLE, Lina (Briere) – At St. Joseph Continuing Care Centre on Saturday August 19, 2019. She was 90. Beloved wife of the late William Ray Laperle (August 9, 1999). Survived by 4 sisters, Marie Reine Summers (late Gordon), Alix Raymond (late Fernand), Isabelle Legault (Bernard) and Rejeanne Mahoney (Jimmy). Predeceased by her parents, Rene and Olivia (Paré) Briere, 2 brothers, Robert and Antoine Briere (Heather) and 5 sisters, Lorraine Chisholm (late Bernie), Edna Leger (late Romeo), Françoise Quigg (James), Marie Briere (age 4 years) and Louise Briere (age 2 years). Friends are requested to assemble at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 2900 Second Street East, Cornwall for funeral mass on Friday August 16, 2019 at 10am. Rite of Committal to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society – Cornwall Chapter would be appreciated by the family.
