Lorna Doreen Patton (Cameron)
August 23, 1934 – May 17, 2021
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mom, Lorna Doreen Cameron (nee Patton) on Sunday May 17th, 2021. Born on August 23rd, 1934 in Drummondville, Quebec.
Mom joins her parents, Lorne Patton and Doreen Perry, husband, Manson Cameron, brothers Richard and Clifford Patton, among the stars.
Proudly calling her Mom and friend are Barry and Laurie Meacham (husband William McCrank).
Loved dearly by her relatives especially her grandchildren, Dan Bingham, Jennifer and Megan McCrank as well as the newest sparkle in her eye, her great-granddaughter, Norah.
A strong, witty and inspiring woman, who cared deeply for her family, loved to laugh and live life to the fullest, on her own terms, never taking it too seriously. Her love for her family and her little furry companion, Charlie was evident all the way to the end , Sporting her color coordinated nail polish, she was always stylish. She touched all those she encountered. So many saying she was like a mom and grandma to them. She knew how to make others feel at ease, with her light-hearted and live-for-the-moment approach to life.
We were blessed to have Mom in the comfort of her home surrounded by loved ones, joking and eating chocolate to end.
Big thank you for all the flowers and cards we have already received. Mom loved her flowers and a good card.
The celebration of life will be on August 28, 2021 at 11:00 am St Andrews Church South Lancaster by the gravesite.
In the meantime, make a call, write a letter or hug someone that you love today because there’s no better time than the present.
Love you Ma/Mom/ Nan. Until we meet again, I will always love you to the moon.
