Lucille Lapointe (Boisvenue)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lucille (née Boisvenue) Lapointe in Cornwall on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Edgar Lapointe. Loving mother of Lise Gauthier and Michel Lapointe (Joanne Patenaude) of Cornwall. Cherished grandmother of Chantalle Gauthier (Christopher Abraham) and Christine Gauthier (Cory Smith) of Cornwall and Kayleen Lapointe of Ottawa and Matthew Lapointe (Gabrielle Charron) of Ottawa. Great-grandmother of Rose Abaham. Predeceased by her parents Aldéric and Alice (née Gauthier) Boisvenue and brother Rheal (late Marlene). Dear sister of Rolland (Lise), Gerald (Rachel), Stella Lamoureux (Gaston) and Dianne Hanton (Scott). She leaves behind her beloved Shih-Tzu, Penny. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Precious Blood Roman Catholic Cemetery, Glen Walter, Ontario in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Society of the Little Flower Ste-Thérèse de Lisieux, 7020 Stanley Ave, Niagara Falls, ON L2G 7A7, or to the local SPCA, or to a charity of your choice.
