GADBOIS, Phyllis – on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the Ottawa Civic Hospital at the age of 86 years. Loving mother of Violet Whitford (Larry) and Charles Gadbois (Sherry). Phyllis (née Gledhill) will be sadly missed by her dear friend, Linda Dawson. Grandma will be fondly remembered by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear daughter of the late Charles and Violet Gledhill. Predeceased by two sons, Patrick Gadbois Jr. and Frank Gadbois; by one brother, Jimmy Gledhill and by father of the children, Patrick Gadbois Sr. Survived by her four legged friends, KC and Muffin. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, distancing guidelines are in effect and an attendance-controlled visitation will be held at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh St West (613-932-8482) on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 1 p.m. until time of Funeral. Funeral will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home at 3 p.m. Cremation to follow. Interment will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and the OSPCA would be appreciated by the family. Messages of condolences may be left at www.lahaiesullivan.ca
