HOUDE, Madeleine (Major) – Peacefully on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. She was 86. Loving wife of Rhéal Houde. Cherished mother of Pierre Houde, Joanne Fortier and Anne Charbonneau (Dan). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Stéphanie, Roxanne and Liana. Madeleine will also be remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Hector and Yvette (Lortie) Major and her brothers Jean-Guy Major (late Françoise) and Hubert Major (Raymonde). Funeral arrangements entrusted to the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall. Friends and family are requested to assemble at St. Felix de Valois Church for Funeral Mass on Saturday May 28, 2022 at 10am. Attendance will be controlled and those attending are required to wear a mask and maintain social distance. Rite of Committal to follow at Cimetière Sacré Coeur, Alexandria.
