Malcolm “Mac” Campbell
Malcolm Williams Campbell (Mac), 58, of Ingleside, Ontario, surrounded by family, passed away on July 9th, 2021 at the Cornwall Community Hospital (CCH) from complications due to ALS.
Malcolm was born in Cornwall, growing up in Monkland. He is survived by his brothers Graeme (Darlene) and Hugh (Janey); his nieces and nephews, Caley (Shannon), Shauna (Trevor), Robyn (Grant), Jamieson (Hannah), Grant (Jessica) and Myles; granduncle to 6 boys. He is also survived by his Jamaican family, Tekla, and godchildren Tevon and Cilesha who were so very important to him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jamieson Campbell, and mother, Ethel Parks.
Malcolm was a free spirit who lived life his way. He was always ready to help others in need. He loved his work on the pipeline and his time spent in Jamaica.
A heartfelt thanks to the staff at Bayshore Healthcare and CCH for their care. A special thanks to Malcolm’s many friends who were like family to him, visiting and supporting him frequently in his final months.
The funeral service will be held at the North Branch Cemetery, Cemetery Road Martintown at 2:30 p.m. on Friday July 23, 2021. Reverend Gaudet will be officiating. A celebration of life will follow at Munroe Mills where the Campbell family put down roots on arrival to Canada in 1847. Please bring a lawn chair.
